The DTRLEA Type Electromagnetic Flow Meter applies the principle of electromagnetic induction. It is an instrument that measures the flow of conductive fluids based on the fact that a conductive fluid will generate an induced electromotive force when passing through an external magnetic field. It is usually used for the measurement and metering of conductive media, and is a velocity-type flow meter with high accuracy and high reliability. It is widely used in metering, measurement and control in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, iron and steel, food, electric power, papermaking, water treatment, water supply, heating supply and environmental protection.
An electromagnetic flow meter consists of two parts: a sensor and a converter. The sensor is composed of a measuring tube, electrodes, an excitation coil, an iron core, a housing and other components. After the converter amplifies, processes and calculates the flow signal, it can display the instantaneous flow and cumulative flow, and output signals such as pulses and analog currents, which are used for the measurement and control of fluid flow. The DTRLEA series electromagnetic flow meters adopt intelligent converters, which not only have functions such as measurement and display, but also support functions such as data remote transmission, wireless remote control and alarm.
