Meeting Friends in the Capital in the Warm Spring of March, the New Product Launch Captures Attention
The 24th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition was held at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing from March 25 to 27, 2024. Weihai Duoterui Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. made its first appearance at the exhibition after an 8-year period of accumulation. The company made adequate preparations before the exhibition and, following several years of R&D efforts to overcome key challenges, launched its 3rd and 4th generation vortex flowmeters. We believe that "only through profound accumulation can one achieve remarkable breakthroughs" (lit. "thick accumulation leads to thin release"), so we are filled with both anticipation and anxiety for this exhibition.
Small Surprises During Booth SetupWe departed on the afternoon of March 23, 2024, and arrived in Beijing in the early hours of the 24th. This exhibition hosted over 1,000 exhibitors. We arrived at the venue in advance to set up our booth, aiming to reserve more time for technical communication with other exhibitors. Perhaps our efforts moved the heavens, or maybe our sincerity touched the customers—before we even finished booth setup, we secured our first order. The customer was particularly interested in our 3rd-generation vortex flowmeters. Upon learning about its key features—strong shock resistance, wide turndown ratio, low requirements for straight pipe sections, and performance comparable to imported brands—the customer made a decisive decision to place the order.
Big Surprises at the ExhibitionThe exhibition officially kicked off on March 25. The first day attracted a large number of visitors, and most customers showed special attention to our 3rd-generation and 4th-generation vortex flowmeters. Meanwhile, 2 units of gas turbine flowmeters were ordered on the same day. On the second day, our booth welcomed a large number of international visitors. They showed strong interest in our products, expressed willingness to establish cooperative relationships with us, and gave us high praise. On the third day of the exhibition, many cooperative partners came to our booth. After learning about our products, one customer directly placed an order for 11 vortex flowmeters—this was the biggest surprise before the exhibition concluded.
